We invite our guests to walk through our delightful gardens. Our burbling brook runs through the guesthouse gardens, flowing beneath willows, golden ash trees and colourful flower beds. Any time of year there is something to wondrous to see – with photo opportunities in every season. We also have platypus that search for food in the stream. Visitors with patience will adore this shy and retiring Australian animal when he comes out.
Guests may explore both sides of the creek. In winter morning frosts cover the yard, giving everything a magical coating of ice crystals – great for the photographers. In Spring you will see the garden beds erupt with bulbs, such as jonquils, daffodils and tulips. Summer, of course, the gardens are shady and luxuriant; and autumn gives way to the delights of falling golden and amber leaves. In every season of year when the guesthouse garden is both picturesque and calming to the soul.
